Sublimation
is a distinct, full-color printing process which
utilizes special ink dyes that are transferred directly onto selected
items which are specially treated. Then under high heat and pressure,
an imprint is made that is permanent and washable. Unlike silk-screen
colors which are opaque, sublimation inks are transparent.
Although this
method of printing definitely produces vibrant color and detail,
small variations in heat, pressure and surfaces may cause the fine
detail to thicken or fill in and cause colors to vary within the
same run. This is a natural part of the sublimation process. We
cannot guarantee a PMS color match and repeat orders may vary.
